Information about Liaisons Social Club.

Club History and Organisation:

The club was founded in the 1990s by two business people and run by them. The club then evolved to a non profit making venture being run by a committee which is elected each year. The committee meets each month and produces the monthly programme, looks after advertising and contact with new members.

Committee members attend the club night at the Crooked Billet on Tuesday evenings to take bookings for attending events and to welcome prospective new members.

About the Club:

During the year the club provides an event to go to each Saturday and a walk on Sundays.

On other days there are additional activities such as Liaise-Days where we might go out for the day (afternoon) or for lunch, and a club night at the pub.

A programme is sent to each member every month with a full and varied programme.

Booking for an event is easy, just choose your event from the flyer, contact the organiser and pay on the desk on a Tuesday or send a cheque to the address in the flyer.

We also encourage and help members to organise the events.
