Leander Rowing Club Lunch and Tour at Henley

Have lunch in the UK's premier Rowing Club and get a look behind the scenes at what makes a Gold Medallist.

Two course lunch in the clubhouse (cash bar available), followed by a guided tour of the state of the art facilities used by elite athletes; discover more about the the Club's illustrious history and what goes into making Henley Royal Regatta such a prestigious event.

Another fun dance and a lot of laughs at Sands Village Hall, organised by Daphne from 8:00 till 11:15 pm tickets from Daphne are £8.

Walk from Wycombe Marsh

A hilly 5 mile walk through Fennels Wood and skirting Flackwell Heath. We meet at the free car park by Kingsmead Recreation Ground opposite B & Q on the A40.

From High Wycombe take the A40 to to Wycombe Marsh, which is where the retail park is, and turn right by the Synter Car Showrooms into Kings Road (turn left if coming from Loudwater) then turn left into Fennels Road, car park is at the end of the road by the netball courts.

Meet at 10:45 for a prompt 11am start.

Quiz Night in aid of Lions Charities at Bourne End Community Centre

Fancy being in with a chance of winning £500? On the 24th October, Bourne End Community Centre are staging a heat of the Annual Wycombe Lions quiz challenge. As well as enjoying a fun night of quizzing, the top two teams on the night go forward to the Grand Final at Cressex Community Centre, (on Wednesday 13th November). The winning team in that Grand Final share a prize of £500.

Liaisons are forming a team of 6 for the Bourne End night.

You pay £3 that night with proceeds again going to the Lions Charities.

This walk takes in the villages of West Wycombe and Downley. West Wycombe is on the High Wycombe A40 to Oxford Road. Go through the village and turn right into Chorley Road, the entrance to the garden centre (although no longer a garden centre) can be found on the left after 100yds. Meet at 10:45 for a prompt 11am start.

Guy Fawkes Night at the Crooked Billet 

Our club night with a slight twist.

Come along to the pub and enjoy some bonfire night food,sparklers in the garden, a short November 5th themed quiz and maybe one or two other surprises. Hopefully whilst holding our sparklers we will be able to look up to the sky's and enjoy any displays that are happening nearby.

Come along and join Jackie A. Gary Roman is an Elvis Tribute artist, and covers most of Elvis's popular songs, He wows the audience with a great version of Elvis Presley's "American Trilogy", then leaves them shouting for more.
